During our visit, we had the pleasure of diving into the fun at the annual Winter Carnival held at Hard'ack. The day was filled with sledding adventures, delicious food, live music, and spectacular fireworks. And of course, who could forget the highlight of the event - the Duct Tape Derby, a creativity-fueled sledding race that never fails to entertain.

We had the opportunity to chat with Kelly Viens, director of the St. Albans Recreation Department, who shared insights into the multitude of outdoor activities and recreation programs offered at Hard'ack. From skiing and snowshoeing, to hiking and swimming at the newly installed year-round city pool, there's something for everyone to enjoy amidst the stunning natural beauty of this outdoor playground. The Greg Brown Lodge onsite, along with its snack bar, provides a cozy retreat for visitors to relax and recharge after a day of adventure.
